still in school?

At The Bridge Wellness South, we love investing in the next generation! We offer several exciting ways for students to get involved, serve their community, and make a meaningful impact. High school students can earn community service hours through hands-on volunteer roles that connect them to real needs in their community. College students can apply for internships that offer experience in nonprofit leadership, healthcare support, client care, or educational programming. These roles allow students to grow both professionally and personally while supporting a life-affirming mission.

High School Student Opportunities

High school students have a unique opportunity to make a real impact at The Bridge Wellness South while earning community service hours. One of our biggest and most exciting opportunities is serving at our annual donor banquet. This special event takes place on a weeknight in October from approximately 5:00–10:00 PM. During the evening, students greet guests, serve tables, and help create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for those who generously support our mission.

Not only is this a high-energy event, but it also offers a behind-the-scenes look at how nonprofits engage their donors. Students get to be part of something meaningful while developing communication and leadership skills in a professional setting. For more details about serving at the banquet, visit https://supportthebridgewellness.org/2025/05/2025-bridge-wellness-south-annual-banquet-with-pam-tebow-a-masterpiece-in-the-making/.

In addition to the banquet, students can serve throughout the year in several meaningful ways. For example, they can help with outdoor tasks such as landscaping and maintaining the grounds. They can also assist with cleaning and organizing indoor spaces. These ongoing projects are ideal for individuals looking to give back or for youth groups wanting to serve as a team.

Furthermore, we encourage youth group leaders to schedule service days that allow students to build teamwork, grow in compassion, and learn more about the value of supporting families in need. Through every act of service, students become part of a larger mission that promotes life, hope, and lasting impact.

college Students Opportunities

College students can gain valuable, hands-on experience while making a difference through internship opportunities at The Bridge Wellness South. These volunteer-based internships are designed for students who want to grow professionally while serving a life-affirming mission that impacts real families in need.

We offer internships in several key areas, including marketing, public relations, nursing, and pre-med. Whether students are designing social media content, assisting in the clinic, or participating in client engagement, they receive practical training that complements their academic studies.

In addition, our internships are aligned with college programs and requirements to ensure students meet their educational goals while volunteering. Each intern works alongside seasoned professionals who provide mentorship, feedback, and real-world insight into nonprofit work and community healthcare.

Furthermore, students gain a deeper understanding of how their classroom knowledge translates into real impact. For example, nursing and pre-med interns may observe ultrasounds, assist with patient care, or support health education efforts. Meanwhile, marketing and PR interns help craft campaigns that inspire donors, promote events, and spread our message across digital platforms.

These internships are ideal for students who want to build their résumés, grow in faith, and become part of a mission that matters. Interns don’t just observe—they actively contribute, learn, and lead in ways that leave a lasting impression on the people we serve.
