Am I ready to be a parent? The answer to this question doesn’t come in just one word. A child can bring lots of joy into your life, but there will also be a lot of hard work. If you choose to parent your child, there’s no doubt about it- your life will be very different. Wonderful, as well as difficult.
How We Can Help You
There are many community resources available to assist you in parenting your child. We have programs such as our iNvest Parent Prep Program, designed specifically for expectant moms.
This program offers women and families the opportunity to experience quality pregnancy and parenting education while working towards “purchasing” items needed for their baby.
Through group education classes, faith-based studies, pregnancy education videos, and parenting sessions we hope to help strengthen each expectant mom and family.
You can find support in a welcoming environment while learning about topics such as pregnancy, parenting, and breastfeeding. Flexible scheduling is available and you’ll receive points for attending your prenatal appointments too!
Online Classes Available Through BrightCourse
The Bright Course Program consists of the following areas of study: Pregnancy/Birth, First Year, Toddler Development, Parenting, Life Skills, Positive Relationships, Fatherhood, and much more.
These classes can be completed online or in-person at the center and you’ll receive points when each class is finished. All of your points can be used in our Baby Boutique where you “purchase” items such as diapers, wipes, clothing, and more.
Classes and shopping appointments can be scheduled by calling 770-957-8288. The center is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 am- 4 pm.
